Our Story

Plymouth Chorale is a growing community chorus of approximately 30 voices (SATB) dedicated to the performance of a wide variety of choral music with an emphasis on sacred works. The Chorale has performed across the full spectrum of music history, from 16th century Spanish carols to Arvo Pärt, and from J.S. Bach to P.D.Q. Bach.

The Chorale is directed by Donna Kummer and accompanied by Elna Hickson. Additional instrumentalists and vocal soloists are often engaged for performances. The Chorale rehearses and performs at Plymouth Church, 2717 E. Hampshire St, Milwaukee 53211.

Membership in Plymouth Chorale is open to ALL adults; no auditions are held. All that is required is the ability to learn harmony (rehearsal recordings are provided) and a desire to sing with others. The Chorale rehearses for 75 minutes on Wednesday evenings from September to May. We generally have two concerts a year, one in December and another in late April or early May.

Masks are optional.
